June’s Cafe in Newmarket, NH is the newest sister cafe joining Lil’s, The Islander, and Stella’s. This project is a great example of how reCreative can work with you to bring your brand to life – from a concept to a tangible reality.
When tasked with creating options for branding in the early stages, owners Deb and Michael pitched what they wanted for June’s as a “coastal grandmother” aesthetic. We created three distinct options and color palettes, eventually landing on the perfect brand identity.
We took our brand guidelines and coastal grandmother vibes and used them to create a website that we think speaks to the cafe’s location and beautifully presents its offerings. Newmarket was a mill town, so we used waves throughout the site, alluding to the river mills throughout the town.
We pulled from our web design to create the menu as well, continuing the mill theme and building a strong brand identity for the new cafe. The color palette, fonts, and waves tie the menu into the cafe’s branding and make it uniquely, explicitly June’s.
We were also able to add pictures we took into our design following our photoshoot of the menu that took place at sister location, Stella’s Cafe. June’s staff was doing some training, and while their kitchen wasn’t up and running yet, they met up at Stella’s to learn how to make all the delicious menu items – the perfect time for us to photograph each dish!
