Flow Kākou is a Hawaii-based arts and cultural non-profit organization. Established in 2017, its mission is to instill and inspire ownership and self-awareness among community members through movement-based activities. They develop understanding of purpose, intention, innovation, action/reaction and reflection to help find clarity and balance as a community and culture. – Flow Kakou
At the very beginning of the pandemic, reCreative started our Mind & Body series, which Flow Kakou’s artistic director took part in. On the very last day of our programming Matt Del Rosario stepped in to preset ‘Meeting Movement’ to our instagram audience. From there we began to work with FK on a virtual video series, “The Present Movement“. This eight video series was created, directed, edited, and produced by Artistic Director Matt Del Rosario, with a helping hand of reCreative’s Managing Director.
Flash forward to February 2021, not only did we not realize that an entire year later we’d still be at home, but that there would still be high demand for digital event content. Flow Kakou has recently released a new exploratory video series to help grow each individual’s curiosity, identity, and emotions. Interested in learning more?
