2025 reCreative wrapped
15 photoshoots
with 4 gallery showings
our goal going into 2025 was one photoshoot a month for a total of 12. crushed it. plus we had our first gallery show of our own in an old shipping container at paved paradise, and our work was featured in 3 other galleries around the world. woo!
in 2026, we’re shooting for two a month. why? because photoshoot days are fun days. who wouldn’t want to put food on the floor, throw sprinkles around the office + snack on fries between shots?
17 website builds
10 of which were custom designs from the ground up
new sites for new businesses, updates for existing clients, fresh starts for new clients with existing businesses… have we tied ourselves up in verbal knots here?
from restaurants + cafes to spas + dog treats, we’ve worked with lots of lovely humans to make something just right for each. some were refreshes of sites we (or others) made in the past, but the majority were totally from scratch. not too shabby, if you ask us.
the gist: we made a lot of lovely sites for a lot of cool people.
3 awards
in photography, packaging + web design
we’re (still) cool enough to win some stuff apparently!
this year we were recognized for a gorgeous photo for a 10/10 cocktail, some pretty new packaging for an old friend, and a vibrant microsite for a longtime client.
want some more facts + figures?
- over 16,000 songs sung off-key in the office by Kaitlyn + Meg
- 500 coffees drunk

our year was defined by redemption, growth + creativity.
looking ahead to 2026, we’re leaning into our passions + things we love. we’re moving on from doing things just for the sake of it or because we feel like we *have* to + on to doing projects we love, working with clients who make sense for us + shouting about our passions from the rooftops.
you might’ve seen Meg’s declaration to become ungovernable on LinkedIn. well, that behavior is coming to the website too. no more SEO trends or articles about trying to pander to the algorithm. we’re turning it into a place for our passion projects to shine.
everyone says authenticity is the key to success online — let’s see how it goes when we’re *truly* authentic instead of just acting like we’re authentic. get ready for deep dives into niche passions, musings on pop culture + hot takes that may or may not throw you into an existential crisis.
buckle up. we’ll see ya then.
