What It’s Like Working With reCreative
reCreative + Co is a tight-knit creative design agency focused on working with other local businesses in the Southern Maine seacoast area. With Creative Director Meg Raiano and Marketing Assistant & Copywriter Kaitlyn Chrisemer working out of their cozy office space in Kittery Foreside and Director of Development Raman Kaur working remotely from her home in Canada, our team is small but mighty.
As a business that started on Meg’s daily commute on the LIRR, we’re passionate about helping the little guys get a leg up over the mega-conglomerates. We pride ourselves on creating a balanced, creative, collaborative working environment – both for our independent work and our client work.
Meg has worked at big corporate agencies that are all work and no play. With reCreative, she wanted to try something new. We want to keep our creative spark alive and use our expertise to work on projects we believe in. Our hyper-local focus is no coincidence; we want to help other local businesses grow and thrive.
With Meg’s background in the corporate marketing world, she picked up a few tricks along the way that she implements into her day-to-day creative pursuits. While she knows about all the technical ins and outs, she always leads with creativity and design. From web design to graphic design to photography, we’ve got you covered with all the content you need to create a strong online brand presence.
Kaitlyn is a reader at heart. After nearly a decade of working at her local bookstore and a Bachelor’s degree in writing, editing & publishing, stringing together some copy is nothing new. At reCreative, she’s been dipping her toe into writing for different brands in different tones and voices. Learning how to write differently for each client and platform has been a fun challenge that Kaitlyn just keeps improving on.
Raman has worked with us for about five years now, and we’re so glad to have her on our team. She knows how to get the job done and knows when a design should be altered to improve the user experience. With her expertise, we make beautiful, user-friendly websites that help our clients stand out in the crowded digital landscape.
As a small team, we work closely with each other to make sure we’re all doing our best work and feeling supported by one another. Our working relationships are not strictly professional – we care about each other and our clients as humans above all else.
We want to work with people who are putting some good out into our community and the world. Many of our clients are hyper-local – restaurants and wellness spaces in Kittery and the surrounding towns. We’re beyond thankful to have these opportunities to work with some awesome people to help them make their dreams a reality and meet their professional goals.
